Focusing on Hebei’s distinctive industrial clusters,

nearly 26 design‑matching events have been held,

building design‑linking channels for more than 500 local enterprises.

This is the achievement of the “Design Tour”,

and also a vivid footnote to Hebei’s industrial design “enlightenment movement”.

Now, this journey takes on a brand‑new look.

As a flagship supporting event of the 2026 Hebei International Industrial Design Week, the Industrial Design Expert Tour sets off afresh as the successor to the former Design Tour. Held from September 19 to 29, 2026, it will take experts to featured industrial clusters in Xinji, Xiongan, Baoding, Cangzhou, Xingtai, Hengshui, Langfang, Shijiazhuang, Tangshan, Handan and Dingzhou. By offering “on‑site diagnosis” for enterprises with design thinking, it will help speed up the transition from “Hebei Manufacturing” to “Hebei Smart Manufacturing”.

Call for Experts

This activity invites design specialists, firms and institutions to visit Hebei’s local industrial clusters, identify real‑world demands, and revitalise clusters with design power. We sincerely welcome design agencies, corporate representatives and industry experts from the fields of fashion design, brand design, new‑material application, structural craft, industrial design, product design, ergonomics, AI scenario application, human‑computer interaction, energy electronics and artificial intelligence to participate.

The 8‑Day On‑Site Industrial Visit in Two Groups: Itinerary

Group A: Consumer Light‑Industry Expert Panel

Dates: 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 September

Visiting Xiongan, Baoding, Cangzhou, Xingtai, Hengshui, Langfang, Shijiazhuang. Open to design organisations, enterprise delegates and specialists specialising in fashion design, brand design, new‑material application and product design.

The group will conduct field research on signature local clusters including footwear & apparel, luggage & bags, and home goods. It will identify bottlenecks in industrial growth, explore local innovation pathways, and connect design resources with Hebei manufacturers.

Group B: Equipment Manufacturing Expert Panel

Dates: 20, 22, 23, 24, 29 September

Visiting Tangshan, Xingtai, Cangzhou, Handan, Dingzhou. Open to design organisations, enterprise delegates and specialists specialising in industrial design, structural craft, artificial intelligence, ergonomics and product design.

Field investigations will be carried out on distinctive industries such as intelligent robots & equipment, mechanical enclosures and sports goods. Experts will hold in‑depth talks with front‑line staff, pinpoint corporate design needs, sort out common industrial transformation challenges, and match design solutions precisely with Hebei manufacturers’ development requirements.
