The 2025 Hebei International Industrial Design Week kicked off in Xiong'an on September 20, showcasing a total of 3,200 new design products from around the globe.

As one of the major events of the 2025 Hebei International Industrial Design Week, the Hebei International Industrial Design Innovation Achievement Exhibition features seven themed exhibition zones, including the International Design Zone, Hebei Design Achievement Zone, "Xiong'an · Design · Future" Zone, and AI Design Zone. The exhibition has attracted 330 enterprises from China as well as countries and regions including Denmark, Italy, and Japan. The 3,200 new design products on display cover fields such as artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, next-generation electronic information technology, and robotics.

The specially curated "Xiong'an · Design · Future" zone presents a three-part narrative — "Craftsmanship Memory," "Smart Innovation City," and "Digital Future" — showcasing Xiong'an's achievements in areas such as traditional craftsmanship upgrading, smart city construction, and future industry planning. This not only highlights Xiong'an's positioning as an "intelligent, green, and innovative" city but also provides design support for the development of the "City of the Future."

A major highlight of this year's Design Week is the combination of "case study analysis + scenario demonstration." In the AI Design Zone, the theme "AI-driven design ecosystem chain" demonstrates how artificial intelligence empowers everything from creative sourcing, product implementation, and industry chain collaboration to future lifestyles. The Experience Design Zone presents a complete design path covering touchpoint optimization, system connectivity, and value evolution. The Shenzhen Open Innovation Lab has set up an interactive creative area, where visitors can gain hands-on experience through workshops to intuitively understand product internal structures, operating logic, and deeply appreciate the concepts behind the designs.

It is reported that this year's Design Week regards industrial design as a key driver for industrial upgrading and urban innovation, with a greater emphasis on accelerating the implementation of smart design application scenarios and strengthening international resource connection platforms. The goal is to bring together global design innovation forces and promote the deep integration of cutting-edge design concepts and advanced design technologies with Hebei Province's pillar industries and county-level characteristic industry clusters.
