Xiong’an New Area is a rising city of the future. Relocated central‑state‑owned enterprises, universities and key businesses have settled here one after another. Traditional and emerging industries thrive side‑by‑side, while future‑oriented sectors including artificial intelligence and low‑altitude economy are gathering momentum.

Design underpins every step of this city’s evolution. The futuristic new area is now at a pivotal phase, shifting from quantitative accumulation toward qualitative leap. Both traditional and emerging industries take root here, and forward‑looking industrial scenarios are unfolding steadily.

Xiong’an Future‑City Exhibition Zone — 2026 Hebei International Industrial Design Week

The event features a specially‑built Xiong’an Future‑City Exhibition Zone, divided into two major sections: Growing with Momentum and Capability‑Driven Leap. Participating exhibitors include national enterprises such as Huawei, Yunjing Intelligence, Hegang, Jianghuai Laboratory, alongside local Xiong’an‑based firms like Jinxing Technology, Yundong Technology and Gantang Technology. The exhibition vividly illustrates Xiong’an’s developmental journey: laying solid industrial foundations and advancing toward intelligent upgrading.

01 Exhibition Concept

Spanning 1,000 m², the show adopts the theme “Gathering Momentum · Taking Leaps: A Future‑City Driven by Industrial Design”. It consists of two core exhibition halls (Growing with Momentum and Capability‑Driven Leap) and six functional modules, showcasing Xiong’an New Area’s latest achievements and its future blueprint.

Growing with Momentum Hall

Focuses on the real‑world outcomes of Xiong’an’s traditional and emerging industries. It presents innovative products ranging from Xiong’an‑made shoes‑and‑apparel, plush toys, chips and drones to robotics, demonstrating progress in both conventional manufacturing and high‑end smart industries.

Capability‑Driven Leap Hall

Centers on future‑industry scenarios for Xiong’an New Area. Through scenario‑based displays of intelligent connected vehicles, AI‑powered terminals, elderly‑care companion robots and low‑altitude aircraft, it visualizes Xiong’an’s roadmap from industrial foundation‑building to intelligent transformation.

Booth design theme: Gather Blocks · Co‑Build the Future. Rooted in Xiong’an’s development philosophy of ecological priority and green growth. Flowing orange floor graphics simulate the water‑network texture of Baiyangdian Wetland, visualizing the ecological foundation and echoing Xiong’an’s principle of “plant greenery before erecting buildings”. Modular stacked‑block forms symbolize urban construction, representing united efforts for city‑building.

The two design elements complement each other, jointly interpreting Xiong’an’s ethos — “artistic urban growth rooted in ecology”. Every artistic block fits into an ecological setting, collectively forming a future eco‑city woven by blue waters and green landscapes.

02 Exhibition Highlights

Covering 1,000 m², the Xiong’an Future‑City Exhibition Zone highlights the transformation of traditional manufacturing, innovations in high‑end smart industries and emerging‑industry trends. Immersive, scenario‑oriented displays trace Xiong’an’s growth from master‑plan vision to tangible reality.

Mountain‑Cat M20 Quadruped Robot

Presented by Yunjing Intelligence (Xiong’an, Hebei).

The Mountain‑Cat M20 is the world’s first industrial wheel‑legged quadruped robot built for rough‑terrain and high‑risk environments. Integrating lightweight architecture and robust continuous‑operation performance under extreme conditions, it navigates mountain trails, muddy wetlands, rubble and other harsh surroundings. It enables intelligent‑robot applications in power‑grid inspection, emergency‑response firefighting, logistics delivery and scientific exploration.

Blossom‑Dream · Nose‑Whisper Installation

Created by Beijing Lokoko.

Taking an elephant’s gentle trunk‑touch as its symbolic gesture, this work merges technology with human‑istic warmth. When visitors approach the static mechanical elephant sculpture, its trunk lowers softly in a tender caress. Beneath its metal framework lies child‑like tenderness. High‑tech engineering conveys soothing affection; every interaction forms a gentle dialogue between cold machinery and human warmth.

Smart Timing Hot‑Pot Chopsticks

Designed by Xiong’an Shanmu Design.

These intelligent timing chopsticks merge precision‑sensing technology with natural‑wood aesthetics. Equipped with high‑sensitivity NTC temperature sensors and main‑control chips, they calculate optimal blanching‑cooking durations in real‑time. Its 0.96‑inch OLED screen is protected by tempered‑glass overlay; silicone gaskets and epoxy‑resin potting achieve IPX7‑grade water‑and‑oil‑proof performance. Internally, stainless‑steel support cores and flexible‑PCB circuits guarantee mechanical strength and durability. Preserving the pleasant hand‑feel of solid‑wood tableware, this product brings invisible digital‑tech onto the dining table. It precisely controls ingredient doneness and turns every hot‑pot‑cooking moment into quantifiable culinary ritual.

Queshan‑Zhengmai Ancient‑Formula Incense‑Bead Bracelets

Brought by Xiong’an Zhihuikang.

This product re‑imagines ancient‑style natural incense materials for modern‑wear contexts, inheriting the age‑old incense‑blending philosophy of combining aromatic ingredients sourced from different regions. Instead of merely applying traditional motifs as surface‑level decoration, the design translates cultural heritage across five dimensions: color‑system logic, incense‑recipe principles, material‑selection criteria, craftsmanship and sensory experience. Raw herbal‑incense powders are manually blended, kneaded and naturally air‑dried for 7‑15 days to take final shape. Every bead bears unique texture, colour gradients and hand‑made traces. Static cultural heritage of incense‑making is thus transformed into wearable, fragrance‑emitting, long‑lasting everyday accessories.
