Company profile

Founded in 2000, Hong Kong Federation of Designers Limited was renamed The Hong Kong Federation of Design Associations Limited (FHKDA) in 2004. Currently, FHKDA has a total of 29 members.

FHKDA aims to consolidate the industry efforts in Hong Kong by building stronger relationships with key local professional bodies and design institutions, as well as those in around the region so as to ride on the national development strategy involving "One Belt One Road Initiative" and "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area", and strive to further strengthen the "Design Twin Cities" development for Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

Since 2011, FHKDA has taken on a more significant role in coordinating projects that foster collaborations of professionals in different sectors of design with other industries and partners in the economy. FHKDA focused its effort in facilitating inter-city exchange programmes and communication, as well as fostering collaborations between designers/brands from around the region.
