As the municipal industrial design innovation center, HIDI is co-founded by Industry and Information Technology Department of Hebei Province, Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center (HIDC) and Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Handan. At the same time, HIDI is an important part of CFSCC SME innovation industry base. It is positioned as comprehensive service operator in the whole design industry chain to offer the large public service platform for outstanding design enterprises. At the core of “design + industry”, HIDI sets up the design centers of six main industries including AI, smart city, life aesthetics, culture creation IP, healthcare and equipment manufacturing. Since its establishment, HIDI sticks to the following strategies like advancing the development of industrial design and industry integration as our starting point; serving the transformation and upgrading of city industries as foothold; building the public service system and introduce design agencies as supporting point. Based on it, HIDI becomes the industrial design innovation service platform to promote the industrial design innovative concepts, link the upstream and downstream design resources, enable the development of demand enterprise, drive the industrial integration and upgrading, strength the industry exchange and so on.
