Hebei International Industrial Design Week 2026

The provincial Party committee and government attach great importance to the development of distinctive county-level industries. Currently, industrial design is rapidly evolving from "appearance beautification" to "systematic innovation," becoming a key driver in enhancing the quality and efficiency of industrial clusters. The 2026 HIDW, centered on the theme "Design Empowerment · Cluster Revitalization," focuses on the transformation and upgrading needs of our province's distinctive industrial clusters. It aims to establish a platform for precise alignment between design resources and manufacturing enterprises, gather top-tier design talents from home and abroad, foster deep integration of design concepts and manufacturing processes, ensure efficient matching of creative outcomes with market demands, and facilitate the overseas expansion of cluster products, thereby genuinely empowering high-quality development of clusters through industrial design.

Past / Future

HIDW creates a multi-level and forward-looking design event covering the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.Taking into account the traditional industries and cultural resources of Hebei Province and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, it introduces the international design trends ad thoughts based on the future position of the Xiongan New Area and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban circle. It leads the development of Hebei's industrial design with a forward-looking perspective, thus empowering Hebei's future construction.

Industry / City

Hebei is a major industrial manufacturing province with a strong foundation for industrial development. Xiongan New Area is responsible for evacuation of Beijing's non-capital functions and severs as a high-level modern socialist city,  a new engine for a modern economic system, and a national model positioning for high-quality development. HIDW attracts a group of world-renowned experts, companies and institutions in the fields of design, Internet, urban construction and other fields to gather in Xiongan New Area to discuss industrial design, service design, design thinking, and urban design at multiple levels including practice of  industrial transformation, emerging industries and future cities.
