The sound has the power of nature, which is brought to people’s endless imagination by hearing. This work is inspired by the ripples of water produced in vibration. The author uses digital technology to convert the sound of the sports car engine into a digital signal. A pattern of highs and lows is formed and gradually passes outwards. The final projection is a silhouette of mountains and water mingling, frozen into one between movement and stillness.

The work is based on the sound of the Aston Martin DB11, using computer algorithms and sound visualization to design patterns, and techniques such as 3d printed metal to realize the idea.

DX300 semiconductor wafer multiline cutting machine

This product can cut up to 300mm (12 inch) wafers, filling the gap of the domestic large size semiconductor wafer multi-line cutting processing industry, breaking the foreign technology blockade and monopoly. The cutting line speed of the equipment reaches 1500m/min, the cutting accuracy ±0.01mm, the cutting efficiency and accuracy reaches the world advanced level. The clever combination of function and formal beauty makes the product more practical and aesthetic. The simple lines and proportional divisions highlight the product’s precision-cut industry characteristics.

The development of cutting-edge technology allows design to better serve human society, and the exhibition will feature more black technology products to inspire people’s imagination of the future.

Blues Audio Resonant Disc Speaker

The DBA Resonator loudspeaker is designed with an all-metal enclosure and uses a full-range speaker and down-firing woofer. In addition to the metal housing, the “resonance disc” underneath is a revolutionary patented design that allows the inherent tone to be heard more clearly through the vibrations of the signal source from the top full-range driver. As a result, the “sustain” or “decay” of the sound waves is prolonged, which is especially suitable for testing high-frequency samples such as Tibetan chants or tambourines. In short, this is an unprecedented function in loudspeaker design. This is also a high-end active speaker specially designed for family, studio or lounge.

Household Intelligent Age-appropriate Luminaires

Exhibitor: University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC)

This is a smart intelligent age-appropriate luminaire designed for people with AD (Alzheimer's disease). It aims to improve the sleep quality of the elderly, appease the mood of the elderly and report the sleep situation of the elderly by using the changes of physical lights and shapes. It consists of three parts: a main light that provides light therapy and indicates the current time during the day, a night light that is placed at the bedside to provide light at night and an app that alerts the caregiver when it detects the elderly person getting up.

Snail Chair

“A heavy shell wrapped in a gentle look up”, there will always be pressure and responsibility to carry in life, but even if there are many difficulties, don't give up and go towards the goal, which is the epitome of every migrant worker. The design concept of the Snail Chair uses the spiral texture and form of the snail, which extends from the center of the seating surface to the armrests in a growing trend. The bottom is supported by four spheres, giving people a relaxed and playful sense of fashion. The soft snail-like curves of the armrests and seat body embrace the user warmly and give a sense of enveloping security when sitting down.

KOGA Tableware

福(Fu) 祿(Lu) 壽(Shou) 喜(Xi) the words mean fortune, prosperity, longevity, and happiness, they are the most auspicious words for humble and simple Taiwanese, Lu and six homophonic, and the six symbolizes prosperity. Therefore, the hexagonal shape that represents a good omen is transformed into a design element, which can be seen everywhere in our daily life, praying for ordinary and beautiful life.

Millennium Tenon Building Blocks--- Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest Series

Taking the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest in Temple of Heaven as the prototype, the Series is the assembling model with the ratio of 1:200 by applying the design concept of mortise and tenon joint culture and miniature building. The Series model with mortise and tenon joint structure shows the exquisiteness and romantic charm of prototype building with elaborate and ingenious components. Therefore, the finished building model can rival the artworks. The users will have a wonderful building experience by making components into the complete artwork with the mortise and tenon joint structure, at the same time, they can profoundly realize the infinite intelligence and utilization skill of mortise and tenon joint structure by the novel and unique building pattern.

When it comes to reed paintings, you must think of Baiyang Lake. It’s the perfect match to show the story in Baiyang Lake with reed paintings. Mr. Liu Yongle has a deep love to create the reed painting with Baiyang Lake theme, such as the work Return Simple and Nature--- Rest in Baiyang Lake, which shows the lake scene full of honest people and natural charm. The old fisherman sits on the boat to smoke in a long-stemmed Chinese pipe at leisure and watch cormorants fishing, at the same time, several speedboats startle the water birds when driving to distance. I believe this painting can comfort the spirit of people living a fast pace of life and bring the chance to enjoy simple and nature pleasure. Especially, it can indicate the profound culture history in Baiyang Lake.  

Tea Ware with Fish Species in Baiyang Lake

As the gold award brand in the First Cultural Innovation Competition in Xiongan New Area, Fish Species shows their thought for current ecological environment by the quantity fluctuation of fish populations in Baiyang Lake. The Tea Ware with Fish Species in Baiyang Lake is the product created under the priority strategy of ecological development in Xiongan New Area. Through this tea ware to feel the landscape of new area and new look of the Lake, when you taste the tea, you can close eyes to imagine flying with the wild gooses over the reeds freely. In this process, you can feel the long history, the peaceful scenery and the city style of “China feature, Baiyang scene and innovation fashion”. 

Based on the long history of Chinese culture, design brings new elements for cultural inheritance and fits the age, which makes people know more about the traditional culture.

DARE VSRu Aerodynamic Road Bike

Made by white PU material, the seats of「TPE to HUN Public Transportation Aesthetic Project」can give passengers more refreshing and comfortable transport experience. Equipped with adjustable head restrains in blue cobblestone styling as highlights, the seats take full account of ergonomic spaciousness to improve the comfort level of long distance bus. It also supports USB sockets and Wi-Fi in full consideration of travel issues.

Ingenious skin

With combination of emerging smart textile material with traditional textile patterns of intangible cultural heritage, “Ingenious Skin” is the concept of all-textile surface based on intelligent waving design to realize the natural perceptual interaction for passengers and crew in the future cockpit, where users can control the volume and window height by swiping on the textile interface. Inspired by traditional Chinese embroidery and painting of koi fish and auspicious cloud, the textile surface uses pattern changes in size and thickness to lead the gesture operation and promotes Chinese traditional culture as well as provides better touch experience by adopting Kansei engineering. Our creation team breaks through the interaction restrain of traditional intelligent hardware by integrating conductive threads, thermochromic threads and normal yarns to improve interactive experience for passengers and new creative ideas for interior design of car cockpit in the future. 

As future design providing more convenient and faster travel modes, we will achieve the trip situation like sci-fi blockbusters someday.  

Styrofoam Marine Waste Keyboard

Since 2018, LITEON has worked with partnership QiHui Environmental Technology. They helped together the Penghu clear away more than 30 tons of Styrofoam marine waste. LITEON cooperates with the Industrial Technology Research Institute to modify recycled Styrofoam marine waste, which do not add new materials. Modified recycled plastics will can be used to make and design LITEON keyboards and mouse.

Furniture made by garments waste

Based on modular design and recycled materials, MiniWiz works with partnership Xiongcai Dazhi (Xiamen) New Material Technology Company to design textile fiber planks made of waste garments and diapers. Such a kind of multifunctional modular furniture is able to change people’s ordinary impression on thriftless materials and it can stimulate more possibilities to wasted-garments upgrading, so that make the action become a solution to eliminate wasteful practices in fast fashion.

Evolve

“Evolve” is an elegant deck chair made from recycled plastic entirely. Thoroughly crushed at first, the obsolete consumer electronics get broken down into particles to be fused into sturdy plastic plates, which has no carbon emission. These cycled plates without dyeing are machined to furniture modules combining with precise ergonomics design to show the texture of this innovative material as well as keep the delicate appearance. This chair is made of waterproof materials, so you can place it indoors or outdoors.

MAC Ward

Due to COVID-19, TDRI, Fu Jen Catholic University Hospital and MiniWiz Corporation work together to create Intelligent Epidemic Prevention Ward, MAC WAR. This MAC WARD is light weight and modular and it is totally built by the recycling materials of aluminum cans and PET bottle. Furthermore, MAC Ward features by highly flexibility and convertibility whose main develop concept is quick assembling. This Ward can be fast set up within 48 hours under any environment conditions.

Antiviral Acoustic Wall Panel

For the effective epidemic prevention of public office, designers provide the solutions formed by two relevant main products: Future Work Box addresses the inefficiency of employees working at home；Future Work Dock is designed as the working space for small teams and founded all over the city. Users can reserve the Dock closest to their team in the Box and then the Box automatically goes to the Dock for matching after the reservation.

Design improves the epidemic prevention and health security in the post-epidemic age. There will be more epidemic prevention designs to help people for the challenges of COVID-19 in the future.
