The 2025 Hebei International Industrial Design Week officially commenced today (September 20) in Xiong'an New Area. Under the theme "ENVISION FUTURE · NEXT-GEN INDUSTRY," the event highlights the vision of "Bringing together global design to serve Hebei's development." Over 3,200 standout design pieces from around the world are on display at the Hebei International Industrial Design Innovation Achievements Exhibition.
Spanning 8,000 square meters of exhibition space, the Achievements Exhibition features seven major zones, including the International Design Pavilion, Hebei Design Achievements Pavilion, and "Xiong'an · Design · Future" Pavilion. It brings together renowned international design firms and innovative enterprises, showcasing cutting-edge applications across fields such as aerospace information, artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, and new materials—fully capturing the dynamism and creativity of global design.

Zhang Xinbo, Production Director of the Robotics Division at Hebei Henggong Precision Equipment Co., Ltd.:
"Our humanoid robot is called Yuanzheng A2. It stands 1.7 meters tall, has 40 degrees of freedom across its body, and supports voice interaction, performance routines, and service tasks like serving tea and water. As a complete-robot manufacturer, we are transitioning from traditional manufacturing to 'intelligent manufacturing,' driving Hebei's industrial upgrading through technological innovation."
Wang Make, International Procurement Lead at Xiong'an Rongsheng International Exhibition Co., Ltd.:
"The pavilion we are in is the Joint Asia Center Pavilion. Here, we focus on introducing how companies can go global and earn foreign exchange—how to take your high-tech, carbon-trading, and green-energy enterprises abroad. We hope to take root in Xiong'an and grow together with it."
WEEV, a Swiss digital platform company, is attending for the first time. Its Chief Marketing Officer, Fabian Hürdikopf, said he hopes to use the company's digital platform to closely connect suppliers and brands between China and Europe.
Fabian Hürdikopf, CMO of WEEV:
"Here I see a very active market and many excellent Chinese suppliers. I hope to introduce their outstanding products to the European market. To facilitate brand globalization, we have developed a digital 'product passport.' By scanning it, consumers can learn where the materials of a garment come from and discover the brand's story and more information."

An Italian footwear design company brought its self-developed shoes made through 3D printing. The designer said the shoes' design concept is inspired by nature.

Giacomo Giussani, Key Account Manager at IDD Italian Footwear Design Company:
"We hope to apply these beautiful natural elements to the clothing we wear. We are very happy to have the opportunity to showcase our work at the Xiong'an New Area exhibition stand."

This year's Achievements Exhibition has significantly upgraded the visitor experience by introducing an innovative visual interpretation system. Through graphic illustrations, video animations, and other dynamic presentations, it transforms implicit content—such as design concepts and technical principles—into explicit, intuitively comprehensible information, enabling even general visitors to easily grasp the creativity and value behind each design.
Gao Weisong, an on-site visitor:

"I can clearly see China's remarkable progress in industrial design development. In particular, the eco-friendly design themes stand out as a major highlight of this exhibition."
