Our urban systems and businesses are interwoven with physical and digital infrastructures. Design thinking has become an essential part of modern services as we manage historical centres and cultural initiatives, combine manufacturing with design and technology, and steer city development and cross-cultural collaboration. The impact of this new layer in our cities is evident in almost every sector of the contemporary city. This exhibition displays works and projects from designers, entrepreneurs, cultural trailblazers, policy makers, and activists from four Greater Bay Area cities, Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen and Zhuhai, who visualise, present and connect new perspectives on our urban environment and society.
